Oake Meadows Nursing Home, located in the peaceful, residential area of Trull in Taunton, offers expert residential, nursing, dementia, respite and rehabilitation care.
Surrounded by open fields and countryside views, our spacious purpose-built home is split into five smaller communities — each with its own unique character, care specialism, and sense of home. Meet our wonderful Asif, who is one of our dedicated Health Care Assistants! 💙
Asif first worked at Oake Meadows as an agency worker before becoming a permanent member of the team 3 years ago, and we are so glad he decided to stay with us!
Outside of work, Asif loves exploring the UK and beyond, often heading off on camping adventures in his truck! Asif always has his next destination planned 🚗🏕️. Asif also loves photography taking pictures of his travels, friends and his beloved truck. He also enjoys visiting his hometown of Kerala to spend quality time with his parents and family ❤️
Asif’s favourite part of his role is knowing that he is making a difference in people’s lives every day. He takes great pride in helping residents feel comfortable, supported, and cared for. He has also enjoyed embracing traditions and celebrations that he may not have experienced before, making his time at Oake Meadows even more special 🎉

Trull church will holding a service at the slightly later time of 3pm, and we are looking forward to some lovely hymns and moments of reflection ⛪️
Finally, we are really looking forward to welcoming all loved one to our relatives meeting!

Outside of work, Ellie is a real social butterfly 🦋 She loves travelling, sunny holidays, spending time with friends and family, and is currently studying for her degree alongside work! Ellie is also a proud older sister ☀️
